INTISARI

University students in Indonesian big cities, especially in Yogyakarta, are mostly outsiders who need to rent flat rooms to live in. Security always becomes one of these students’ main concerns. Considering that, researcher tried to create a doorlock controller using smartphone with Arduino-based bluetooth. This tool can only be opened by the owner’s smartphone because the bluetooth pairing can only be done with one correct PIN code. Beside a security controller, this tool has also been developed to control the lamp and fan of the room. This controller uses bluetooth modul HC-05 as its communication media and Arduino Uno R-3 as the data processing center with the system of solenoid doorlock, lamp and fan controller as the output system.
